Your privacy, plainly
What we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated August 2026.
What you share with us
When you fill in a form on this site, the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, and message, come to us so we can reply and set up your intro call. We use those details to be in touch with you about Palmerston. We do not sell them, and we do not share them beyond the tools we use to run the business.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, so we can make it better. It records things like which pages are visited and how people arrive, in aggregate. Google Analytics 4 anonymizes IP addresses as part of how it collects data, and we run it through Google Consent Mode so it honours the choice you make in the banner.
Advertising measurement
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta's measurement tools to see which ads bring people here. The Meta Pixel notes the pages you visit and sets two cookies, _fbp and _fbc, that recognize your browser and the ad you clicked. When you send us an enquiry, our server also reports it to Meta so the ad that brought you in gets the credit. That report includes your email and phone number as a hash, a scrambled form that lets Meta match the enquiry to an account without reading your details in plain text, along with technical details like your IP address and the id of the ad you clicked. If you become a client, we may report that to Meta the same way. Meta explains its side in its privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy.
Your choice
Measurement is on by default, and you can decline any time from the banner. Declining turns off Google Analytics and the Meta tools, removes Meta's cookies from your device, and means your enquiry stays between you and us. Your choice is remembered in a small cookie on your device.
